What is the difference
between the 50 Inch Pioneer Plasma
PDP-502MX and the PDP-505HD?
You can read all the specs
below but the bottom line is that the 505 has better video
chips for video, The 502 is designed more for multimedia
There is no difference of basic panel specification between
PNT and PA model.
Both 50 inch Pioneer Plasma have 1280 x 768 native resolution and HDTV signal
(1080i/720p/480p/480i) compatibility.
The new technologies, such as "True Matrix
Imaging", "Digital High Density Scaling" and
"Continuous Emission Display" are incorporated into
both Pioneer Plasma models and both 50 inch plasma TV's are 160% brighter and 280% better contrast
ratio than previous models.
Since features were tried to design based on the imagined
requirements of major customers of each sales company, there are
some specific features that are built into only the PDP-502MX
model or vise versa.
